Helping Music Artists build real careers
—without selling their soul.

Music is an enigmatic force capable of remarkable psychological and physical impact, so intrinsic to our emotional well-being that it can bring forth transformative change, even in circumstances where the neurological ability to process music is compromised.
Churches have used music for centuries to become closer to God. Ancient tribes used music in their ceremonies to tell stories of their culture. Resonant music affects us all somewhere deep within our souls, not merely providing us with our desired emotional change but also defining our autobiographical memories, shaping our self-perception and influencing our personal narrative.

• Pointless banality and the uncanny valley—SethGodin’s blog—AI still can’t do HI. The AI glitches show up from the start and continue. But it’s even more unsettling than this. When AI tries to create and direct joyous human dancing, it fails. The dancers look like retired accountants at a wedding. The stiff awkwardness jumps out at us… and yet, if aliens were to compare this to footage of actual humans dancing, it probably seems very similar.

• In Partnership with Songtalk
Every great song begins with a conversation.
A conversation with an idea. A memory. A melody. A feeling that refuses to leave you alone until you find the words, the chords and the courage to give it a voice.
For more than a decade, Songtalk has been helping songwriters have that conversation more deeply—and turn what they discover into better songs.
Through thoughtful interviews with accomplished songwriters, artists and music-industry professionals, Songtalk explores the inspiration, instincts, decisions and sometimes difficult work behind the songs we love. Not simply how a song was written, but why certain words connect, why a melody stays with us and how a songwriter learns to recognize when something is finally right.
It is practical without becoming mechanical. Intelligent without losing the mystery. And always rooted in a genuine respect for songwriting as both a craft and a deeply human form of expression.
Whether you are facing the blank page, wrestling with a lyric, searching for the heart of a song or simply wanting to learn from people who have walked the road before you, Songtalk offers insight, encouragement and ideas you can immediately bring to your own music.
We believe a song is more than content. It is one of the most powerful ways a Music Artist can reach another human being and begin a relationship that may last a lifetime.
Better songs create deeper connections. Deeper connections create TrueFans.
That is why we are proud to partner with Songtalk—and pleased to recommend it as an invaluable resource for every Music Artist who is serious about writing songs that are not merely heard, but felt and remembered.
Listen. Learn. Write better songs.
